Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow….

Hi Everyone,

I am still digging out after the big snowstorm here in Chicago.  It is so beautiful… that is when you are looking at it from your window!

On the show this week we featured Art Smith as one of our guest chefs.  Art opened a restaurant in Chicago called Table 52- because there are 52 seats in the restaurant.  If you are thinking about going there, make your reservation now- I don’t think there is an opening till March.  I enjoyed cooking with him so much that last night Giuliana and I went to eat at his restaurant (I had to pull some strings to get a table).  It was amazing.  The food, atmosphere, everything was great.  Giuliana and I were celebrating.  It was one year ago last night that I proposed to Giuliana and here were are now, an old married couple.

I am hoping that a lucky viewer wins the cash this week, show me the money.  The prizes of the day are great but it would be nice to see a $50.000 winner!  As you may have noticed I am always interested in why they pick certain numbers, and if they do win the cash prize I want to know how they are going to spend the money.  Inquiring minds want to know.

Have a great week,

Bill

Hi Everyone,

Well, I am still recovering from all of the excitement of  “My Favorite Things Week.”  I felt a little bit like Santa Clause, well that could have been because of the Santa hat I was wearing. We had a great audience every day and I loved seeing their excitement build with the presentation of each gift.  I have to admit the slingbox was one of my most favorite gifts. I think it is because I travel so much and spend so much time sitting around in airports, it definitely helps pass the time.

I spent this weekend in the Caymen Islands with Giuliana.  We were asked to participate in a tennis tournament.  I haven’t played tennis in about a year and neither has Giuliana.  It is NOT like riding bike, you can forget how! The last time I played tennis was when my sister Karen and I took on our other sister Katie and her tennis team partner.  After three long sets and a lot of bantering back and forth, they beat us by one point!

All in all, the tournament was still a lot of fun and it beats the dreary, cold, windy weather in Chicago.

We have another great week of shows planned so be sure to tune in.

Hi Everyone,

Well a lot of exciting things happened this past week.  We kicked off our Holiday Giveaway Game and made five viewers very happy!

I had a nice visit with Molly Sims last week.  She is so down to earth and easy to talk to. I know her job seems so glamorous but after hearing about her taping schedule, I will stick with In The Loop.  It was funny when she talked about her mom coming to the set to see Tom Selleck.

I do not like to shop, period.  However, I did spend a lot of time selecting items for my “favorite things” gift guide.  All week I will show you things I selected that make wonderful gifts for men, women and kids.  I took one for the team, so I can make your holiday shopping easier.

I heard about the snow - storm in Chicago on Saturday while I was in sunny Los Angeles.  I can’t say I am sorry I missed it!

Have a great week,

Bill
